Mastering Julian Lage “Modern Lore” No. 1 on Billboard Jazz Album Chart

Mastering Julian Lage

I had the honor of mastering another album for Julian Lage this past year.  It was released on February 2nd, 2018 on Mack Avenue Records.  The album made it to Number One on the Billboard Jazz Albums Chart!  This album was produced by Jesse Harris.  It features Scott Colley on bass and Kenny Wollesen on percussion.  And the album was mixed masterfully by Tom Schick.  Julian has been correctly described “one of the most innovative jazz guitarists today” – I couldn’t agree more.  He continues to push the envelope, and it is always a tremendous honor when he trusts me to master his records!  Check out some press for “Modern Lore” by clicking some of the links below!
